Announcements & Highlights:
As always, there are a TON of amazing things happening and here is just a small sample of all the great things you don’t want to miss out on!
- First up, if you are reading this article then you have probably already discovered that the Atlassian Forums have migrated to a new platform! Be sure to check out this article as well as the two migration issues posts further down in the trending discussions.
-
- Next, it would be a proper migration to a new platform if it didn’t involve an upgrade to the kudos system. Be sure to read through this so that you understand how the new ranks work.
-
- How do you give Jira teams the freedom to move quickly without letting configuration sprawl get out of hand? This upcoming virtual session brings Atlassian product managers together to share practical guardrails, demonstrate how Jira's latest admin features work together, and answer your questions live.
-
- What if you could turn an idea into a working Jira app without writing the code yourself? This hands-on Team '26 EU workshop walks you through using Rovo Studio and Forge to build, refine, and publish a custom Jira dashboard using live team data.
-
- Finally, I thought this was semi-related in this category. Are you running into a Loom account, billing, login, or technical issue? This handy guide shows you the quickest way to reach Loom Support—including a no-login option for those who can't access their account!

As always, there are a TON of amazing articles written by many of your fellow community members. This is just a small sample of all the great content you don’t want to miss out on!
- With Atlassian products changing at a dizzying pace, keeping track of what's new can feel like a full-time job! @Rachel Wright's handy roundup pulls together the many places admins and users can find upcoming, recent, and planned changes—including a new Community release notes hub on the horizon.
-
- Teamwork Graph promises to bring context from tools like Slack, SharePoint, and Outlook into Rovo—but what happens when every user has to authenticate those connections individually? @Darryl Lee takes a closer look at the practical—and potentially frustrating—implications of that model, particularly for large organizations.
-
- Could AI-generated work actually create more work for your Jira instance? @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ shares insights from a Champions Slack discussion and explores how Rovo can amplify existing automation, workflow, and process problems—and why defining and simplifying the process before building an AI agent may be the key to keeping things manageable.
-
- A dashboard full of charts and SLA percentages doesn't necessarily tell you what needs to change. @Chrissy Clements' deep dive into service management reporting explores the difference between measuring activity and understanding demand, flow, performance, and customer experience—and how better reporting can turn data into decisions.
-
- Should every application get its own Jira space? Not necessarily! @David Berclaz _Apwide_’s practical guide looks at why your release boundaries may be a better way to structure spaces, how shared services and multiple deployables complicate the picture, and what to consider before your Jira setup turns release management into a coordination exercise.

- Assets Data Manager is getting a fresh batch of improvements, including a new cloud-enabled Flat File data source, bulk cleanse and merge operations, exporting saved searches directly to Assets, and expanded Lansweeper support. There are also smarter default attribute mappings to make setting up and maintaining your data sources a little easier.
-
- Jira dashboards are getting a modern makeover, with a more flexible canvas, richer reporting, dashboard-wide filters, guided chart building, and optional AI-assisted creation. Don't worry about your existing dashboards just yet—they'll remain available while teams get time to explore the new experience, with migration support not beginning before October 30.
-
- Rovo Chat is becoming a little more collaborative with the ability to @mention specialized agents right from a conversation and share useful chats with teammates without losing all that valuable context . The latest updates also expand Rovo's Memory capabilities, helping conversations become more personalized and useful over time.

- Finally, the official Trello MCP server just picked up a whole lot more flexibility, including support for connecting multiple workspaces, reading and editing comments, accessing member and activity information, working with custom fields, and handling card attachments. It's another step toward letting your favorite AI assistants interact with Trello directly, using natural language instead of a lot of tab switching and clicking.
