Hey everyone 👋
We've got some exciting new features rolling out over the next couple of weeks that will make using agents in automations both safer and more powerful.
- Agent Accounts: Choose whether agents run with their own dedicated, scoped identity or inherit the permissions of the invoking user, so you don't have to automate agents with YOUR permissions
- Agents acting in Automation: Agents can now take action directly inside automations. Simply set a trigger, select an agent, provide a prompt, and let it handle the work end-to-end.
Check out the full details, support docs, and rollout timing here:
🚀 Now rolling out: Agent actions in Automation & Agent Accounts
If you have any questions at all please respond to this post or the main announcement.
Over the next couple of weeks I'll also be posting some tips for using agents in automations and using agent accounts. Stay tuned!
Can't wait to see what you build. 🚀
