I am having difficulty viewing attachments in Trello that are attached to a card/column via an outside source. I can view any files I have uploaded to the card but when I try to open an attachment that's come in from gmail its telling me I don't have permission and can only view it in google drive.

Did you attach the file at the first place? Also, what is the type of the file? Assuming its a doc stored in the Google Drive location which you do not have access to.
