sharing with the team isn't working

hi

when we add a new board and invite our team--that doesn't result in everyone seeing it or being invited or added to it.  they can then go look for it and add themselves but it's not happening via the first invitation/permissions of "team". what are we doing wrong?

When you say "create a new board and invite our team...", how are you going about that?  Are you going to the newly created team board and inviting users? Or are you just making the board team visible?
