I don't want everyone to edit as in image number 1 and I want everyone to be able to comment as in image number 2. Now I can do that but the problem is in comment number 2 they can't attach files. I want them to be able to attach files. How do I set the permissions?
According to the description, it seems you might have assigned the user an observer role. Observers are board members who can view the board and the cards within it, download card attachments, and comment. Observers cannot move or edit cards, upload card attachments, tick checkboxes on checklist items, or change board settings.
If they have an observer role, they will not be able to attach anything.
We do have a feature request open to add more granular or fine-tuned permissions to boards to allow the ability to adjust the specifics.
