Yes, it works, though it depends on what you need from the template. Trello can create cards from emails, and with AI summary enabled, it will automatically generate titles, summaries, checklists, and due dates. Attachments are included automatically, though the AI won't scan file contents, and there is a 10MB email limit.😉
To get a reliable template structure, combine this with Trello automation. You can set up a rule to automatically add fixed labels, members, or standard text whenever a card is created via email.
AI is great for summarizing unstructured text, but standard automation is safer for extracting exact data fields.
