email notifications without assigning member

Hi there, I'd like to set up reminders to my mac and my iphone from the internal calendar.  From previous posts I can see that it's only possible when a task has been set more than 24 hours ago and is assigned to a member.  As I'm the only member of my company is there any chance a setting can be made so that all items are sent to me as a reminder without having to assign myself every time?

Hey Nicola

If you subscribe to the board, you'll get notifications for all due dates on that board 24 hours before the card is due.  This way, you don't have to assign yourself as a member to every card.  

You may see the verbiage as subscribe, follow, or watch. They all do the same thing, Trello is just testing different variations of the word.
