email notification on Trello

Hi all,

Is there a way to get an email notification of a team visible board w/o using the @-function?

Example:

10 boards have been created - all are team visible. Person xyz leaves a comment on board 2 which doesn´t belong to him but to person 123. Person 123 should receive an email notification which is unfortunately not the case :-(

The notifications will be based on subscriptions, which are going to be user-specific. There are some notifications that are going to be standard and be sent regardless if subscribed to a board, card, or list, but some are specific to just that. Here's the notifications one can expect to receive and at what instance.
