Trello does support offline mode in the mobile app. Here's how it works:

• Download and log in to the Trello app on your mobile device (iOS or Android)
• Once all boards are fully loaded, you'll be able to access those boards without an internet connection (in some versions, you might be required to enable the "Available offline" option in Board settings to use them)

Changes made offline will sync when you're back online. See more details here: Trello mobile offline 

For the web and desktop apps, offline mode is not available — they require an active internet connection.
