board button for new card from template

Is there a way to create a board button that will create a new card based on one of my card templates? (Sorry if this has already been asked -  I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find this info!)

Not an answer, but I want this so much, I don't know why it doesn't exist.

@Client Care You could make a card button called "Copy Template" like this:

Seems that, when its a Board Button, they want you to essentially hardcode the template in to the Rule itself..

A workaround is to go to your template, hit Share to get its url. Then make a Card Button that Finds a card with link ___, then makes a copy of it in list ___.

Might be a bit weird to have it as a card button instead of a board button, but it gives you greater flexibility in terms of commands you can use.
