Is there a way to view assigned check-list items for multiple boards (perhaps in the workspace view)? Ideally by user?

Hi Natalie,

Welcome to the community! :) You can view checklist items assigned to yourself across multiple boards by heading to the 'Your items' section in the home tab, per the steps mentioned here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-to-use-advanced-checklists-to-set-due-dates/#Your-Items

Each user can access that page individually!
