With an attachment to a Trello card, can clicking on it take me to the original folder?

Whenever I attach a document to a Trello card, it uploads this attachment. Then when I click on it, I have the option of downloading it. However, I would rather that when I click on it, this just opens up the original document from the folder on my PC, rather than opening up a web version of it. Is this possible?

Hey Darren

When you upload a document from your computer, it's making a copy of the document which is why Trello is having you then download the document. It's not possible to point only to a folder in your computer as the attachment. See http://help.trello.com/article/1040-why-cant-i-open-file-links
