Why when forwarding an email to Trello to auto create a card my templated card is not created

We have a number of boards which all have templates. We forward emails to the board which auto creates a card. However, we have one board where the card that is created is not the template we have created - why would this be

email to board does not use the template card.

That's does not make sense...unless someone had put some automation behind it.

Hi Louisa, 

I'm not sure how automation can create a template card from an email to board feature but there is still a possibility that automation is somehow linked or if there is a Power-up that you're using that modifies this card.

Can you please create a ticket with us in Support at trello.com/contact. From there, please share the board link or link to a card that is created is not the template we have created so we can see if there are any automations in place. Please share a link to a card from another board that does not have this issue so we can compare.
