Why is the calendar power-up now locked at one month, no longer scrolling?

I use the calendar Power-Up and have always been able to scroll between months with ease for moving cards around. After the last big update, that capability is no longer available, and it locks in at a month. Is there a way to unlock that so it scrolls again?

The new update of the Trello Calendar Power-up does not seem to be a good fit for everyone. I see others got the same issue here: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Trello-questions/What-has-happened-the-the-Power-Up-calendar-view-This-new-look/qaq-p/3148218

Unfortunately, I find no workaround for this issue yet at the moment. 

There is a ticket that relates to the Calendar Power-up improvements here [TRELLO-1602]. You can vote for and watch that ticket to follow its progress toward a fix.
