I have one trello board of many boards that freezes when I try to do anything to members. I do just about anything to the board only until I try to add members or look at the group/team information. It's a Team Visible board with about 40 members. 16 columns.
Have a reached a max limit on something?

do you still have an issue with this board ? I think the limit for members of a board is qui high, I found this information from 2018 that mentions 1000 members per board so you're far from it.
There could also be something wrong with your board somehow, in this case you can contact Trello support here.
