Why has my trello workflow closed?

I have a notification when logging on that my workflow has been closed: 

'You’re a member of this board, but only board admins are able to reopen it. Please contact support for assistance.'

Our board admin has tried to look at reopening it however there doesn't seem to be an option to do this.

Hello @Emily 

That message means the Trello board itself is closed. A board admin can easily reopen it by going to https://trello.com/my/boards, scrolling down to View all closed boards, and clicking Re-open.

If they don't see the option, double-check that they are logged into the exact account with admin rights, or try navigating directly to the board's URL. Keep in mind that on Free Workspaces, you must be a *board* admin to reopen it; being a Workspace admin isn't enough.

If you're still stuck,  only Trello support can help here.

Hi @Emily 

I have taken a look at the board, and it is closed. The board admin's account  was deleted due to inactivity over the last two years, as per our Dormant account policy, and because of that, the board is closed.I have promoted your existing account to board admin.

Can you please try now to reopen the closed board under a new workspace and let me know if you face any issues? You can follow the steps mentioned in the doc Reopen a closed board.
