Why do I now have a limit of 10 imports per Blue Cat when I previously had unlimited?

A management change has been made to the account, and since then, we have a limit of 10 imports per user, but we need an unlimited number of imports. Thank you for your help!

Hi Camille!

The import limit in Blue Cat is likely tied to your current subscription plan — this may have changed after the management switch on your account. It's worth contacting Blue Cat support directly to clarify what plan you're on and what options are available.

Alternatively, if you need unlimited reporting without import restrictions, you might want to try Cross-Boards Dashboards — it has no import limits and offers counters, charts, and tables across multiple boards.

Hi Camille,

That limit looks like it is coming from the Blue Cat import Power-Up, not from Trello itself.

Blue Cat’s own pricing information for “Import to Trello” currently says the free tier includes 10 free imports, while unlimited imports are part of the paid tier.

If this appeared after an account management change, I would check these points:

1. Are you still using the same Trello/Atlassian account that had the previous Blue Cat entitlement?
2. Was the board moved to a different Workspace or organization?
3. Was the Blue Cat subscription cancelled, transferred, or no longer associated with your user/workspace?
4. Are you opening the Power-Up from a board where the paid Blue Cat access is still active?

If all of that looks correct, I would contact Blue Cat support directly, because they should be able to confirm whether your old unlimited import entitlement is still attached to your account. Trello support probably cannot override the quota of a third-party Power-Up.

So in short: this does not look like a normal Trello import limit. It looks more like the Blue Cat Power-Up is now treating the account as being on its free import tier.
