Why can't I create a personal board, only a team board?

Hi I have a dozen or so personal trello boards, but recently made a team and a few boards for it ... now I can't figure out why I can't create another personal board? 

When I click to create a board, it automatically puts it as my team and says I only have 5 out of 10 boards remaining, etc. 

I'm looking everywhere but can't see any option to make personal boards, am I missing it somewhere? thanks!
