Why are notifications working on one board only?

I have several boards I created for various projects. On the new Trello home screen "Up Next" and "Highlights" are only showing for one of my boards. The notification bell in the upper right is also only displaying notifications from this same board.

Why aren't my other boards included? I have spent quite a bit of time going through settings, searching other user questions, etc. and can't seem to find a resolution. Anyone have any ideas how I can get all my boards and their respective cards to show up on the new home screen and in notifications?

Hi Anita,

Not every event or activity in Trello will generate a notification, so it's possible that you're not meeting the correct conditions to trigger a notification. For example, in order to receive a notification for a due date on a card, the due date needs to occur in more than 24 hours, and you need to be either a member of or watching the card. This page explains in a little more detail exactly what does and doesn't trigger a notification: http://help.trello.com/article/793-receiving-trello-notifications

For example, if you're the only member of those other boards, there might not be any activity on the board that generates a notification, or counts as activity that would be reflected in Up Next or Highlights.

Thanks for the quick response, Michael! 

I have been able to identify that the only cards displaying on the home screen "Up Next" and "Highlights" are those cards I am watching or I'm mentioned in comments.

However, on the page you sent me with more detail it states that "When watching a LIST or BOARD... You'll get the same notifications listed above, but for all cards in a LIST or BOARD".

I am the only member and all the cards have due dates assigned to them when created days, weeks and even months ahead. So even if I'm the only member, a due date will not trigger a notification? This is what's throwing me.  Is there any way to trigger a notification on a board your the only member on?
