Hi,

as a long-time user, I have been working wih Trello successfully for a number of years. Only recently (within the last few weeks) are we seeing a problem pop up:

When attaching images to a card, these images are being compressed in size, i.e. I upload a pic with a width of 1900 px, but when downloading it, it only has 1200 px.

However, this does not seem to happen with all pictures nor does it happen to other all other team members, only to some. We cannot pinpoint the problem. Of course, all images we use are within the 10 MB-Upload Limit and all the images i question were .jpgs.

This presents a huge problem for us in our daily workflow.

What are we doing wrong? Would greatly appriciate any help

Thanks

Christine

Hi there! Welcome to the community!

Depending on the dimension of the attached image, when you preview it in Trello it will be resized to better fit the preview screen. If you download that image straight from the attachment preview, it will indeed download the resized image.

To download the original one, you'll need to click the "Open in new tab" button on the preview screen, so the image will be opened with its original resolution.

Hope that helps you!
