Why am I not able to paste a list and create multiple cards?

I've been using Trello for a few years now and haven't run into this issue before this week. 

I'm copying a list from a spreadsheet and instead of asking to turn each line into a separate card, it adds a .png of the entire spreadsheet. Did some setting get reverted or something?  
Even if I try in paste in a single line it adds a .png of the line.
