I've been a dedicated Trello user for some time and have greatly appreciated the platform's flexibility and functionality in managing projects and tasks. However, I've encountered a challenge that I believe could be addressed to significantly improve the user experience.
When pasting text into Trello cards, the current functionality seems to default to double-spacing (or adding an extra line break between lines). This formatting issue requires manual correction, which can be quite time-consuming, especially when dealing with a large number of lines. For instance, I recently had to manually edit 75 lines to correct this spacing issue.
I understand that this concern has been shared by several users over the years, with discussions dating back to at least 2011 (!!!!!), yet it appears a comprehensive solution has yet to be implemented. The workaround of adjusting each line individually using shift+enter is not only inefficient but also detracts from the overall user experience.
Given this, I kindly inquire about any plans to implement a single line formatting function or to adjust the current paste functionality to allow for pasting text with single-line spacing. An update on this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it would enhance productivity and ease of use for many users.

Hi,
I just copied and pasted some single line formatted text into a description box and it retained that formatting....
