Why Claude connector can't read Custom Fields?

I had connected my Trello board to Claude and it works fine, but it can't read custom fields, even the Trello custom field app, included premium account

The Trello API treats Custom Fields a bit differently from standard card data

They live under a separate endpoint (/cards/{id}/customFieldItems) rather than being part of the default card object.

I think most connectors and integrations only pull from the main card payload, so Custom Fields get missed unless the integration explicitly calls that extra endpoint.

Regarding Custom Fields - they aren't currently supported by Trello MCP. This is a known limitation of the current release, not an issue with your account or Premium plan.

Custom Fields support is actively being developed and is planned for an upcoming release. For more details, please check the article here.
