When exporting to json, are card attached files exported too in any way?

Trello is perfect to carry on projects and related documents but we miss some sync tool in order to increase a potential cloud data vanish.
Periodical exports (backups) could relieve things but it is not a pretty solution.

JSON will only contain the metadata associated to a context (board, lists, cards). This means that a card with an attachment will have its JSON metadata contain a link to the attachment on AWS (Trello uses AWS for storage), but not the attachment itself.
