When copying a card including comments, how can I edit or delete a comment?

I have been copying cards (including any comments) when creating new, similar cards. I would like to amend the comments, but there is no possibility to edit or delete comments. I want to continue to copy the comments, because I write multiple comments and most of them still apply to the new card, just not all.

@Cat Mouland nup, can't delete comments that were copied from another card (not even with the API!)

I feared that was the case. It's so frustrating! I either have to copy the whole card and all comments, then ignore the comment that doesn't apply, or I have to manually copy & paste the comments that do apply.

@Cat Mouland

This is the hack. Using the sourceCard data, retrieve the comments into a checklist "Source Card Comments". Then based on unchecked comment items built a text append to description and remove the checklist.

The modules are accessible via Butler http request which means that you can include them when you copy the new card and then via a card button you can construct the append.
