When a member updates a card, I get a message, but the update is not incorporated in the card

When a member updates a card, I get a message, but the update is not incorporated in the card

I get a message in my board, that a member of the board added something to a card. I can see in the message what was added. When I go to the specific card, the added content does not show, it is not updated. This is the same on laptop as on phone. What can I do?
