When I change a board, how can I keep the changes private?

Rick Fleischer

It's hard to believe this isn't a FAQ: I don't like the background of my board; I want a list to disappear; I want to change the horizontal order of the lists.  But I'm not about to impose my changes on the team.  What changes are private?  What changes are shared?  (And this should be a separate question? Regarding, "No visible cards. You must be added to a card for it to appear here."  What does it mean to be "added to a card"?)

Trello boards are shared.  When you change the board, by design, others will see the changes.

So there's no such thing as a "view" of a board.  Users haven't demanded it.
