What is the purpose of this option on the trello card?

Does anyone know the purpose of this option to join the board? Is it the same as adding the person to the card?

Hi Matheus - welcome to the community!

The screenshot you've attached is adding a member to the card.
The list displays a suggestion of other members that you can add to the card since they are already members of the board.
