What is the best way to have tasks escalate as completed?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

So here's what I'd like ideally:

A task is at lowest severity, when I complete it, I'd like it to create a new task of the next severity and add a due date of the next day.

This might not be possible but I just thought I'd ask.

If that were my task, I would work with the Custom Fields Power-Up and the Butler Power-Up and set up a customized workflow.

Something like this:
