What happens to observers once a free trial expires?

Hiya!

What happens to observer board members once a free trial expires? Do they get moved to be standard members therefore become able to edit and update cards on boards?

Hi Justin! Welcome to Trello community! 

When the trial ends, the users that were set as observers will remain as it is until the board admin changes them to regular ones or decides to change to any other of the options. Hope that information helps you!
