What happens to my current Board if i move to Business Account?

Currently, I have a board which has 20 users in it.  I am on a free account.

I want to upgrade the business class account for me and 2 other team members, everyone else on the board is more of an observer and don't make sense to pay $10 a month for it.

Can this setup work? Will 3 of us still able to use the business class features while others are able to use still use the same board with free feature access?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Basically Business class billed on Teams! If the team has 3 members then you have to pay for 3 members. 

Single-Board Guests -

If you invite someone from outside your Trello team (this is called a Guest) to your board, they're free on their first board.
