I am using the free version of Trello. In the past, when I delete members, I've noticed their comments on cards disappears. Do these deletions extend to other content they have created? (Example: cards they have made, content they have uploaded, etc)?
Additionally, are there any ways to avoid these deletions or archive the information?
Hi @Maria Bouchard ,
Welcome to the community!
When a member is removed, they will no longer appear on any cards on the board, including those listed as members.Rest assured, however, any actions they performed, such as comments or checklist updates, card created will remain intact on the board.
Please note that any automations created by the member will also be removed. To avoid losing these valuable automations, it's a good idea for the member to add them to an Automation Library.
You can refer Member Removal
I will submit my experience. We removed a member and their entire history (over 6yrs) was removed... everything including their presence on cards, any comments they made, even them being added/removed from cards.
