I am trying to download board info into an excel and then i click on "Print, export & share" and download a CVS, it is downloading an "undefined" file with html info but nothing about the board. Can you help. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Atlassian Community @Riya Jaiswal

Try this workaround:

open the affected board, get its URL (e.g., https://trello.com/b/ABC123/board-name), change it to https://trello.com/b/ABC123.csv, and open that while logged into Trello.

Trello supports this direct .csv export and recommending it during problems with export https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-446

Also did you tried another Browser, incognito window etc. To exclude browser related/Cookies issues?

Best,

Arek's URL route is the one to try first because it skips the menu entirely, so if the problem sits somewhere in that UI you get your file and stop reading here.

If it hands you the same undefined file, that rules the browser out rather than in, and the next thing to check is the plan on the Workspace holding that board. CSV and JSON are gated differently and the docs are flat about it: "All board members can export a board to raw JSON format", against "Boards in Premium Workspaces can be exported to CSV format, which can be opened in any spreadsheet program".

That gives you a control test. Take the JSON option from the same menu. If JSON downloads cleanly and only CSV comes back undefined, you're looking at the Workspace plan, and no amount of incognito windows or browser switching will move it.

Something that changes the calculation if you were exporting mainly to read discussion: "Comments aren't included in the CSV export". They're in the JSON, capped at the 1000 most recent actions on the board.
