Trouble with apps resending old data

We are having a lot of issues when using Trello on our mobile apps (iPhone and iPad).

If we open the mobile apps after we have updated cards on the desktop, we are finding we are losing a lot of new the information that has been entered on the desktop.  

The new information that has beenentered on the desktop does not seem to automatically sync to the mobile device apps when opening Trello.  The mobile device is often showing the old card information, Trello then seems to think it is the most current, and saves this old information over the top of the new information entered into the desktop.  Is there a solution for this?  It is causing us massive problems!! Thank you.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! 

It sounds like there's a syncing issue on your mobile apps. There must be something preventing the Trello app from updating automatically. We have this article with troubleshooting steps on how to resolve this problem: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/troubleshooting-for-the-ios-app/

Thank you - making sure the app is fully closed before opening it (by swiping it up off the home screen) seems to do the trick.. not ideal, but seems to stop the problem..
