Any changes on Trello board on PC aren't updating. So I can move, edit and update cards on Trello but when I refresh, all the changes are gone.

Changes on Trello board on my phone are working fine, so it's a problem just on PC.

Hi @Léonie Chao-Fong

Could you share a few more details?

  • You are saying "on PC" but are you using the Trello desktop app or Trello in a web browser?
    • If it's a browser, which one (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)?
  • Does the issue affect all boards or just one?
  • Does Trello update correctly on another device (for example, your phone)?

If the problem is limited to your PC, a few things are worth trying:

  • refresh the page (or restart the desktop app),
  • try an incognito/private browser window,
  • clear your browser cache or, if you're using the desktop app, use Reset local data,
  • check whether the issue also occurs in another browser.

These are the standard troubleshooting steps recommended by Atlassian for desktop and browser sync issues.

Knowing the answers to the questions above will help narrow down whether this is a local issue or something affecting Trello more broadly.

Hi @Mirek

Thank you for writing. The issue only seems to be affecting my Chrome browser, which the main way I use Trello.

Trello is updating correctly on Safari and on my iOS. However on Chrome, when I try to update a card, a loading icon keeps flashing and doesn't go away. And then when I refresh it in Chrome the updates have been erased.

I have refreshed the page, cleared my browser cache as well.

Thanks for the additional details. Since Trello is working correctly in Safari and on iOS, it sounds like the issue is isolated to Chrome rather than your Trello account.

A few things I'd recommend trying:

  • Open Trello in an Incognito window. If it works there, it's often a sign that a browser extension is interfering.
  • Temporarily disable extensions (especially ad blockers, privacy/security extensions, or script blockers) and test again.
  • Sign out of Trello in Chrome, then sign back in.
  • If you haven't already, try resetting Chrome's site data specifically for Trello (cookies and local storage for trello.com), rather than only clearing the browser cache.
  • Check whether Chrome is up to date and whether the issue occurs in a new Chrome profile.

If the loading indicator keeps flashing and your changes disappear after refreshing, are you seeing any error messages in Chrome's Developer Tools (Console or Network tabs)? That could help determine whether a request is failing or being blocked.
