Within using both the browser version and Windows program I am experiencing a really terrible bug:
I open Trello
It opens me to "Promo" board every time, even if the last board I was using was "Writing"
I closed "Promo" to see if that would fix the issue
Trello continues trying to open "Promo" on start
I am the board owner but this board doesn't appear in my "View all closed boards"
I did have other members on the board but they get the same error I do and cannot make any changes.
Because this is happening in my Windows Program AND browser, it doesn't seem like it's a caching issue. I have cleared my cache and it hasn't helped but cannot do so on the Windows program.
I have to keep manually switching boards on start and it's extremely frustrating.
The AI support bot was not helpful at all.
In the Windows app, can you try clearing data with Help -> Reset local data. You'll have to log in again after this, but once you log back in, can you let me know if you see the same issue? There's an option to set a default board in the Windows app under the boards menu. That is another option you can try. Let me know if this resolves your issue.
Hi Andrea, thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately when I click on Help, it just hyperlinks to this URL https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
I ensured I selected help while I was on my dashboard and not within a board.
I was unable to find any Reset Local Data in any of the settings options either.
I'd really just like for my Trello to open the last board I was working on again, not a specific board every time.

@Jey Pawlik is it possible your app needs to update? Perhaps you're on an older version - i believe the latest in the Microsoft store is 2.15.18. If you update to that version, do you see the option to reset local data in the help menu?

Hi Andrea, I wasn't able to check what version I had so I uninstalled and reinstalled and that seemed to do the trick (the help menu still leads to the contact URL though which is odd)
