We use Trello to track the progress of our school applicants through the registration process. We have two boards open right now. One is our current 2025-26 registration board and one is our older, 2024-25 registration board.
My problem is that Trello always defaults to the older board (2024-25 registration). Every time I log into Trello, I have to switch to the 2025-26 board before I can start working.
According to Trello's help files, Trello SHOULD default to the board that has most recently been used. However, it's not doing that. No one is currently using or adding to the older, 2024-25 board. The only reason we still have it open is that on very rare occasions, we have a need to refer to data on that board. Otherwise, I would just close it and end this silliness.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
I am guessing that you have an autocomplete/saved link in your browser that points to that old board. You should be able to delete that old link as an autocomplete right from the search bar in your browser. When you type trello, and it shows that old board link as a suggestion, go to the right and there you should see an (X) where you can close that suggestion.
I hope this helps!
