Trello is not permitting me to delete members - is it possible to reset an account?

Our free account is filled with people who have mostly left the company.  Trello is not permitting me to delete them.  When I select delete, the pop up box that explains the deleting function comes up but does not permit to delete.

Is it possible to reset our account?  And if so, how? 

Alternatively, please advise how to delete obsolete members.

You should do this under “Members” under your workspace.
