Trello gantt or timeline without additional without subscription

Jamie Andrade August 21, 2020

Looking for a gantt or timeline overlay for Trello that doesn't require the user we are sharing with to install or add anything or sign up for another program.

I've tried a ton of the power-ups but each one seems to require the user to install a plugin or subscribe to an external application.. just want something easy where the user can see the cards / flip over to the view.

I really like the Elegantt look/feel but it requires each user to add the chrome plugin which is very annoying.

Use case - our software development team uses Jira.  We sync issues to Trello to provide external visibility to key stakeholder during project lifecycle.  The project team usually likes the card view but the executive stakeholders want to see the high level.

@Jamie Andrade The way I do this for one of my clients who has the same issue of wanting to share a high level project overview with clients is to create a synched view to a Google Sheet that has all the tasks/sub-tasks represented as spreadsheet rows with a % complete (colour coded) and offset by date so you can see how things overlap.

You could also just put raw data into a Google Sheet and then share it as a chart with your client.

This means you can just give them a link to a doc and it's always the latest info, and they don't have to login to Trello or add powerups or whatever to see the data.
