Since a few days ago, comment previews in Trello email notifications are no longer displayed in full. We only see the first few sentences, followed by "…", and now have to open Trello to read the rest of the comment.
This used to work fine before, the full comment was shown directly in the email. Is this an intentional change or a bug?
It would be very helpful to have the full comment text restored in the notification emails, as having to open Trello every time to read a full comment slows down our workflow.
Has anyone else noticed this issue recently?
Hi @Edouard Tragin ,
There is no documented Trello setting that restores the full comment text in notification emails. The current settings only control which notification categories are emailed and whether messages are sent Instantly or Periodically.
Because this started only a few days ago and the emails now contain an ellipsis, it may be a server-side email-template change or a regression. As a quick check, change the frequency described in the notification settings and compare one instant email with one periodic digest.
If both formats truncate the same comment, keep one example email and report it to Trello Support with the date, approximate comment length, and whether it affects direct mentions as well as watched-card comments. That will allow Trello to confirm whether the change is intentional.
Hi @Germán Morales
Thank you for your answer. I will follow your recommendation and test the periodic digest; if the content is also truncated, I will report a bug to Trello support.

FYI. @Germán Morales same behavior on periodic digest mode, I'll report it to Trello Support.
