Trello board admin gone...I am a Trello admin and need to close/delete board

Hi,

A previous user created a board and she was an admin. She has now left. I am an admin in Trello but when I join that board, it doesn't join me as an admin...just a regular user.

I need to close/delete these boards. Any ideas how?

Hi Andrew

If you're using a free team, then being an admin of the team doesn't give you board admin privileges, however if it's a Business Class team, it does... so it sounds like you're using a free team.

There's some guidance on how to potentially overcome the issue at hand. Please check out http://help.trello.com/article/768-changing-the-admins-of-a-team-or-board for more detailed information about that.

If for some reason none of the mentioned items work in your favor, it may be best just to delete all of the cards on the board and be left with a blank board. The board will still remain in existence, but essentially be blank and useless for any other members.
