The Trello app on my iPhone no longer opens properly. It only shows a blank white page.

However, I can open Trello in Safari and see all my boards normally.

I have already checked that I am logged into the correct Atlassian account.

How can I get the Trello app working again without losing my boards or data?

Hi @Bettina Knorr ,

Does the white screen appear immediately upon opening the app, or after tapping the login button?

Hi Ollie, thank you for your reply. The white screen appears immediately when I open the Trello app. I don’t get to a login screen or a login button at all. The app opens directly to a completely blank white screen. Trello works normally in Safari on the same iPhone, and I can see all my boards and data there.

Hi @Bettina Knorr ,

That detail rules out a login, account, browser, or Trello Free Plan issue. Since Safari loads your boards normally and the app becomes white before showing the login screen, the problem is most likely corrupted local app data or an app startup failure.

Reinstall Trello if the white screen remains

  • Because your boards and cards are stored in Trello, reinstalling the app should not delete your server-side data.
  • Delete Trello, reinstall it from the App Store, and sign in again.
