Hello Trello Support Team,
For some time now, Trello has been very slow for me: inputs (typing, moving cards, clicks) are processed with a noticeable delay, sometimes several seconds.
Important: This problem occurs exclusively with Trello. Other web applications and tools run without any issues and at normal speed, both in the browser and (if applicable) in the desktop app.
Already checked/ruled out:
Could you please check whether this is a known issue, for example:
If helpful, I'm happy to provide further details:
Please let me know what information you need for further troubleshooting.
Thank you and best regards
@Silke Ehrath , worth flagging up front since you addressed Trello Support directly: this is the public Community, run by users and partners, not Trello's own support team. We can't check server logs or account internals from here, if it turns out to need that, a support ticket is the right channel.
On the performance side, Trello's status page shows all systems operational today, so it's not a current outage on their end. The most common cause for exactly this pattern, slow only in Trello, everything else fine, is board size. Open the filter menu, type an asterisk into the keyword field, and check the total card count at the top. Atlassian recommends staying under 1,000 open cards per board, or under 500 if there are a lot of attachments or checklists, archiving old lists or cards is the fix if you're over that.
Also test in an incognito window with extensions disabled before ruling browsers out entirely. One Trello specific extension, a card numbering one, was confirmed in another thread to cause this exact kind of input lag on larger boards, so it's worth checking even if a generic ad blocker looked clean.
