I have integrated Trello into my Make scenario to create a Trello card based on input from my Freshsales Task. The Trello card is created successfully but the Due Date is set as 20 Nov 2025 23:59 (the end of the day of the execution). The due date for the Trello card when created in Make is set as 25 Jan 2026 21:30.
I have discussed this with the Make support team and they have reviewed the raw request to Trello and the return from Trello. This all indicates the correct date of 25 Jan 2026 21:30 is sent and received.
I have attached two images. One showing the dates provided to Trello for the due date and the other image showing the Trello card with the incorrect due date.
I have the raw information that I provide to an internal Trello support member if required.
This seems to be a bug in Trello not retaining the correct date or there is something else I should be setting in creation of the Trello card.
Anyone with experience with performing this type of action to provide guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
I am both a Trello and Make "expert" so hopefully I can help here. I created a quick simulation on Make and it worked fine for me (note difference is because Make is set to a different timezone to Trello):
I would advice checking:
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.
The card is created, and then some Make variables are set and Freshsales is updated. Then the following three router lines are skipped and the fifth router line gets those variables and sends an update in Slack. So, no further touches are made on that Trello card.
I tried your suggestion and entered {{now}} for the Trello due date. I would have expected it to have said 24 Nov 2025 16:55 and instead it shows as 24 Nov 2025 23:59. I also removed the date from the start date and it made no difference.
Thanks for the offer to help. I'll reach out to you on LinkedIn.

Hi Mike and anyone else who has this issue.
Mike suggested checking my Trello automations. Sure enough, I had two automations setting the due date to be midnight of the date the card is created.
Removed the automations and all works correctly now.
I really appreciate your help.
Peter
