Dear team,

When opening a Trello card from a web browser on a smartphone (both iOS and Android), the card background does not render properly, causing the text to become nearly impossible to read. This issue makes it difficult to view or edit card details on mobile devices. recorded session here (dummy data) : https://www.loom.com/share/f4a118c6c3114c87972eeb390453c2af

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Trello in a web browser on an iOS or Android smartphone.
  2. Navigate to any board and open a card.
  3. Observe that the card background stops rendering correctly, making the text unreadable.

Expected Behaviour:
The card background should display correctly, ensuring the text remains readable and accessible.

Actual Behaviour:
The background stops rendering, and the text becomes difficult or impossible to read.

Hi Thomas, welcome to the community!

Thank you so much for reporting it and sharing all this helpful information to reproduce the issue.

After some testing on our end, we were able to reproduce what you're seeing and have now opened up a new bug report that you can find right here: TRELLO-1072.

I have also added this ticket as an internal comment to this report so that way our engineering team can reference it and also use it to help align priority.
