Hi everyone,

I’m having a problem changing the email address associated with my Trello/Atlassian account.

When I request the email change:

  • the notification email correctly arrives on my current email address

  • the verification email never arrives on the new email address

I already tried:

  • multiple email providers (including Gmail)

  • checking spam/junk folders

  • different browsers and incognito mode

  • multiple attempts over time

I also tested password recovery using the new email address and no email was received.

Additionally, I’m unable to open a proper Atlassian support ticket because the support form requires an existing .atlassian.net domain, but I only use Trello and I do not have a Jira/Confluence Cloud site.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a workaround?

Thanks.

Hi Marco,

This is usually caused by email filtering, blocked domains, or Atlassian verification emails being suppressed/delayed.
Try checking spam/junk folders, adding noreply@id.atlassian.com and do-not-reply@trello.com to the allow list, and testing again in an incognito browser session.
If it is a company email, ask the mail/network admin to verify that Atlassian domains are not blocked.
You can also try the resend option after some time or test email delivery from Trello notifications.
