Trello Android app widget not showing anything

None of my cards show up on the Android app widget (on a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE). I've tried logging out and in again, clearing the cache, rebooting my phone, reinstalling the entire app, but nothing helps.

I've been trying to search for a direct contact to Trello/Atlassian (there isn't one), browse the Trello support site, google, look at Youtube videos... Nothing. Nobody else seems to be experiencing this issue.

I have similar issue, with Samsung Galaxy S24 with Android OS 16. when I set up the widget it shows all my cards and then after few hours all are gone. I have assigned myself as a member for all my cards. if I remove the widget from the screen and place it again, cards again show for few hours but then disappear again. Very frustrating behavior. This has started recently, earlier the widget was working fine and I like it a lot.

the "fun" part here is that it shows number of cards but none of them are visible.

I have a similar issue with a samsung s20fe:

The widget wont show the card without me to refresh it many time and open the app manually, then the card where i am affected shows up.

But after i little while, no cards anymore.

I think at first i didnt have this issue and found very practical this widget as i can go with only one touch directly to the card of the project i work on.

Can anyone help?

Hey @Juho Korhonen! Just wondering, are you assigned as a member to any of your cards? Because if you aren't, that would explain why you aren't seeing any cards when looking at the widget on Android. Try joining one of your cards and refresh the widget to see if it will populate.

Yeah, it seems like it. I don't understand why this has to be a requirement for solo projects like for me who uses Trello for personal planning, time management, GTD, etc. It's one more unnecessary click/tap for the user, having to assign yourself to every single card.

I don't really feel like using that widget anyway, it's not very attractive and useable to be honest. I found the other widget (the bar with a direct access to your boards and adding a card) to be much nicer and more efficient. You can easily access the app itself that way. I started using that.
