I have a template card created. I click on the template icon at the bottom of a list, click on the preview to turn it into a new card, then type in a title. When I click on 'Create Card', it does nothing. Nothing appears in the list, and I can search for distinct words within the title and it finds nothing.
Update: After about 10 minutes, I was able to search and see the card, however, it didn't show up in the list until I opened it from the search results. Ditto for other cards that I thought just didn't get created – once I opened them from the search bar, they started showing up in the list.
If this is new behavior, I hate it.
Hi Jay,
Usually, a card created from a template should appear at the bottom of the list. Doesn't it happen in your case?
As for the search results, do you use the global search or the filter feature? The global search does take approximately 10 minutes to index the newly created cards so that they appear in the search results. The filter feature, on the other hand, can help you find a card on your board immediately using some keywords. Here's where to find both features:
If you can find the newly created card using the filter feature, could I ask you to create a ticket through https://trello.com/contact? This gives us access to a few more tools to help investigate, and we can discuss information that can't be shared in the community.

Hi, Alina,
Creating a card from a template used to put it at the bottom of the list, but not any more. It seems to have started after last Thursday.
My template card has a label on it called '> PLEASE ESTIMATE <', so I searched on that in the Filter and it found every other card with that label on it, but not my new one.
I submitted a ticket – TRELLO-164156.
Thanks.

Thanks for submitting the ticket, Jay!
I see that my colleague has already started working with you on this case. I suggest you respond in the email thread to keep our communication in one place.
Hopefully, we get to the bottom of the issue together soon!
