I get where you're coming from — I'd like to be able to use more subtle labels too, sometimes!

Unfortunately, until Tello allows users to select their own label colours (soon, I hope), if you want a label to appear on the 'front' of a card, you need to pick one of Trello's rather 'unsubtle' coloured labels.

Grey labels are only visible on the 'back' of cards.

Labels without a color (grey labels) don't show up on the card front, only the card back. This is intentional. If you want the label to show up on the card front, give it a color.
