TRELLO CAN NO LONGER DISPLAY URLS

TS EXPORT
March 5, 2025

We've recently lost the functionality to display raw or shortened URLs. The URLs automatically attach themselves to the adjoining text. In the past we were able to do an edit to separate the link and the text but this functionality is no longer available. Is there a solution to this issue?

Hi @TS EXPORT !

It sounds like you're having some trouble with how URLs are displaying in your Trello cards. It'd be awesome if you could share some examples of what's happening, just so I can get a clearer picture.

In the meantime, you can actually set how hyperlinks are handled by default in Trello. You can choose between URL, Inline, Card, or Embed. Just head over to this link: Atlassian Profile Link Preferences and adjust your settings there.

Let me know if that helps!

Thanks for getting back Renato. The examples link to confidential client information. Is there a way they can be shared without being public on the web?

Does this only happen with link related to that client information, or could you just add https://community.atlassian.com/ with adjoining text on a test card to reproduce this issue?

Also, could you also test on different boards, just in case?

Thanks!
